At Newstart Furniture, we understand that shopping online can be challenging. You'll find videos, dimensions, sizing, pictures, and detailed features on each product to help you make your decision.

Nevertheless, our company offers a 7-day return policy in case you change your mind.

In order to use our 7-day return policy, you must agree to these terms:

1. If you are returning an item, it must be unused and in the original packaging

2. The product has not been assembled, used or worn

3. Agree that the initial freight charges are non-refundable

4. All money-back guarantees are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the sale price to cover the labour costs of picking/repacking the order and returning it to the shelf.

Contact us within seven days of receiving your equipment delivery to arrange the return and receive a store credit voucher for an exchange or next purchase.

*Store credit will be provided in the form of a voucher or gift code to be redeemed at Newstart Furniture Online Store

The customer is responsible for returning the product. 

Before returning your order, seek approval from the customer service team.

 

WARRANTY, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Newstart Furniture handles warranty, returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

Newstart Furniture generally offers a 12 month warranty to products, unless stated otherwise. Warranty only applies to the original purchaser.  All warranties commence on the date of purchase. Please refer to the product listing for a change in the warranty period.

You are required to notify Newstart Furniture within 7 business days in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty.

-To make a claim, you must provide us with your order number, a copy of your tax invoice or any kind of proof showing that you purchased the item from us.

-You need to describe the problem precisely and provide evidence to support your claim. You also need to provide Images and a short video clip if more appropriate, of the damage in order to proceed with the warranty process.

Once assessed and approved by the customer service team, you will be contacted to proceed with the return, refund or replacement process. We may provide replacement parts if something is missing or broken.  Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.

Refunds generally take up to 3 business days to process, once the item has been received by the warehouse.  We will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 business days on top for your financial institution to process it.

A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers.

 

RETURN & Refund

Should you wish to return your order, please notify us within 7 business days of purchase with a valid return reason. You are NOT entitled to a replacement or refund due to change of mind.  You are entitled to return an item if you believe there is a problem. You are responsible for returning the item if it can be posted. If the item is confirmed to have a defect you are entitled to recover reasonable postage costs from us. We reserve the right to charge restocking and postage fees should we find the item to not have a defect or if you’ve changed your mind.
